Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Pay Commission is presently in Cabinet but for few reason The Committee report has not discussed yet. Rural Postal Employee‘s bloger Shree S. S. Mahadebaiya posted on his bog on 18.04.2018 that “The Prime Minister is in foreign tour and hence there is no Cabinet meeting. Hopefully it would be approved in the next Cabinet meeting sooner or later by 25th of this month.”
Today (21.04.2018),Mahadebaiya posted another updates regarding GDS Pay Committee “Todays emargency cabinet meeting was held for POSCO, since morning there are lot of rumours of social media, regarding gds pay revision. CHQ comtacted some of the officer regarding the issue, but they did not confirmed GDS pay revision in cabinet today. We hope nwxt cabinet may decide GDS issue. Don’t belive in any false rumours.”

GDS Committee Report Status – Confirmed by veracious website, union blog and trusted source. A trusted news portal confirmed the news on 09.04.2018 that “Information from reliable source of Directorate , GDS Pay Committee orders may be issued within 10 days or maximum 2 weeks.”
FNPO Secretary General, D. Kishan Rao published their official website on 09.04.2018 that “According to the information from the Directorate, all formalities are over except cabinet approval. It is learnt that orders for implementation of the report will be issued shortly.”
National Federation of Postal Employees Union also confirmed that news on their official blog on 09.04.2018 that “Today on Dt 9/04/2018, Com. R.N Parashar S/G NFPE & G/S – PIII and Com. Giriraj Singh, President, NFPE & G/S R-III, met the officers in Directorate.
As per information received from Directorate the work of approval of GDS committee Report by the Government of India is in final stage and the orders for implementation of GDS-Committee Report are expected to be issued by the end of this month i.e. April 2018.
